How much will a visit cost?
To make an appointment please call our office. To ensure the best use of time, for both our physicians and patients, all of our office visits are by appointment only. We ask that you arrive at our office 10 - 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow you to complete any necessary paperwork and to update any demographic and insurance changes. If you must cancel an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer that time to someone else.
Emergencies arise. We will advise you if there is going to be a delay in seeing you. If your schedule won't allow you to wait, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment. We do appreciate your patience and cooperation during our busy times and we will make every effort to keep your wait time to a minimum.

Do I need an appointment at PediaClinic?
We strongly encourage you to sign in online. Walk-Ins are discouraged as we work our way through the pandemic. Exceptions will be made for critically sick or injured children who need to be transferred to the emergency room immediatel
Can I get advice over the phone?
No, we do not provide advice over the phone. Our staff will occasionally call you before you arrive to learn more about your child’s condition and determine if the emergency room is a better choice at that time. We encourage you to call your primary care physician’s after-hours phone line or insurance nurse line for assistance if you have questions about your child’s condition.
Why use PediaClinic instead of an emergency room?
Choosing PediaClinic instead of the emergency room means faster, more affordable care tailored to your child’s needs. Our pediatric urgent care team specializes in treating common childhood illnesses and injuries, saving you hours of waiting and costly ER bills. With a kid-friendly environment, shorter wait times, and a focus on after-hours care, PediaClinic ensures your child gets the right level of care—without the stress of an emergency room visit.
Where will x-rays be taken?
PediaClinic does not have x-ray services at this time. We can see most strains, sprains and minor fractures and we will send you to a local x-ray facility if needed.
How will my child's doctor know about this visit?
A summary of the evaluation, diagnosis and plan will be faxed to your primary care provider’s office soon after your visit.
When will I receive lab or test results?
You will receive a call quickly with any lab results that require urgent attention. Other abnormal lab results will be addressed promptly by the provider that ordered the labs or tests. Normal values are reviewed and addressed by the physician that ordered them.
Do I need a referral to be seen at PediaClinic?
Because we are an urgent care facility, no referral is necessary to be seen in the clinic. It is important to understand that some insurance companies have preferred urgent care facilities.
Does your practice support breastfeeding mothers?
Yes, we promote breastfeeding. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding babies for the first six to twelve months. Breastfeeding helps defend children against infections, prevents allergies, and protects against a number of chronic conditions. While experts believe that breast milk is the best nutritional choice for infants, breastfeeding may not be possible for all women.
Some women have specific medical considerations that impede breastfeeding; others choose to feed by formula because of discomfort, work schedule, or lifestyle choices. In these cases, an iron-fortified, milk-based infant formula is a good alternative. We will gladly discuss your diet and feeding concerns at your child's well care visit, or please call during office hours to speak with our experienced nursing staff.
Where will I get my prescription filled?
We can fax the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice prior to your leaving the clinic. In some circumstances, we will give you a written prescription if it will be the fastest, most efficient way for you to get your child's medication before the pharmacy closes. We have all of the local 24 hour pharmacies on file to allow you to pick up your medicine.
Do you perform well-child visits or give vaccinations?
If you do not have a primary care physician or you need an urgent sports physical within 72 hours, we will provide that service for you.
In March of 2025, we will offer well visits and vaccinations to a select group of patients who do not have a primary care physician.
